Flatwater is covering Election Day with a keen eye on access. Our reporters, photographers and social producers are out in the community today and tomorrow, checking polls, lines and anything that gets in the way of people voting.
We won’t call winners. Our partners will do that, and quite well. We’ll cover what happens at the polling places, and we’ll publish what we see and hear across our channels.
Check your ballot
Our voter guide covers the statewide races, how to vote and the candidates: voterguide.flatwaterfreepress.org

Yet, on the same day, FFP posts a story from Sarpy County about how some evil anti-vote-by-mail group did exactly that in 2020/2022, wasted Sarpy County’s money with an investigation, and changed vote by mail rules in Sarpy County!
Apparently, FFP/Votebeat did not want to hear of vote-by-mail election concerns from the 2020/2022 cycle.
The newspaper that didn’t know who was running for governor and used the word “notoriety” incorrectly is monitoring the polls for access. I guess we can all rest easy now, the calvary has arrived!
We’re assuming you used “calvary” instead of “cavalry” ironically
